Teach na gCéadfaí 🌈😃
14th Nov 2023
Ba mhaith linn buíochas a ghabháil le gach duine a chur iarracht mhór isteach le Teach na gCéadfaí a thógáil agus a chur le chéile go háirithe Odhrán Ó Muirí a chaith ama i rith an tsamhraidh ag tógáil an teach. Shocraigh muid le lá damhsa a eagrú ag cur eolais amach faoi Shiondróm Tourette ar an bhliain seo caite ó thacaíocht ó Aislene Mc Eldowney. Bhailigh gach tuismitheoir agus páisti airgead as Naíscoil/Gaelscoil na Speiríní. Bhailigh na páistí £2000 san iomlán. 👏Thig le gach páiste an áit a úsáid fá choinne áit shuaimhneach. 🌈Bhí Oscailt Oifigiúil inniu agus d'oscail Máire Nic Ghiolla Cheara Teach na gCéadfaí go hoifigiúil. 😃Míle buíochas a Mháire! Bhí na páistí ag seinm ceoil agus ag canadh. Cé go raibh sé fuar, fuair na páistí uachtar reoite le ceiliúradh 🍦a dhéanamh ar an ócáid speisialta seo. 😃👏
The staff of Gaelscoil and Naíscoil na Speiríní would like to thank everyone who contributed to our new Sensory Shed. Last year, we decided to have a Sponsored Danceathon raising awareness of Tourettes Syndrome with support from Aislene Mc Eldowney. From this it was decided to raise money to build a Sensory Shed. We raised more than £2000👏. We particularly thank Odhrán Ó Muirí who built the shed during the summer break. Every child can use it as a quiet sanctuary/space when they need a quiet space or to relax. 🌈We had an Official Opening today and Máire Nic Ghiolla Cheara our School Improvement Officer officially opened it. 😀Many thanks to Máire. Many thanks to all the children/staff who sang and played instruments. We all had ice cream today to celebrate. 🍦Many thanks to all the staff of Gaelscoil/Naiscoil na Speiríní for all their hard work and to the parents too. Maire mentioned the lovely atmosphere and how well behaved the children were today. Maith sibh a pháistí. 😃👏
