Eco School Council
Gaelscoil na Speiríní is now involved with the Eco-Schools programme. The programme provides an ideal way for fostering environmental awareness in the entire school while also linking to the curriculum. Schools can choose from ten eco-topics ranging from litter and waste to energy, biodiversity and transport. Eco-Schools work towards achieving awards – bronze, silver and the prestigious green flag. Gaelscoil na Speiríní are currently working through the 7 step process in an attempt to achieve the bronze award.
